CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST TO HOST ISG 2028, THE 16TH WORLD CONFERENCE OF GERONTECHNOLOGY​

We rotate the location of the World Congress, which occurs in even-numbered years. The application procedure is as follows (also available on our website): If your organization would like to host the 2028 ISG World Conference, please send a Letter of Interest addressed to the Secretary General (secretary@gerontechnology.info), indicating the following:
  1. The proposed host organization.
  2. Names and affiliations of the proposed conference organizing committee, including their history with ISG and experience organizing international conferences.
  3. Proposed conference venue (hotel, conference centre).
  4. Proposed theme and keynote speakers.
  5. Potential sources of financial support.
The Letter of Interest must be co-signed by the chair of the organizing committee and the person in a leadership role who is familiar with ISG.
  • For a university department or research unit: the Chair or Director, plus the Dean of the relevant faculty or a senior administrator.
  • For an NGO: the President and the Secretary/Treasurer.
You may consider contacting your local tourism bureau for assistance in preparing your bid. They often have expertise in promoting the host city and can help secure competitive bids from potential venues. Your letter should emphasize the expertise of the organizing committee and its commitment to ensuring the academic, social, and financial success of the conference.

Please submit your Letter of Interest by September 1, 2025, at 16:00 CET.
